Fundraising groups leaders: ask about EZPay
New this year is our EZPay program, our online payment system for fundraising groups. Now when your group sells books with Attractions, you can accept credit cards from people who buy books from you.
It works like this: You or your members sell books just as you have in the past. If a supporter buying the book from your group wants to pay by credit card, they do a quick checkout at our web site. The group leader gets an immediate notification that your account has received a credit, who sold the book, the name of their class/team/homeroom, and how much the credit was for. We also keep a summary of all your payments and who they came from.
There is no penalty for checking out with EZPay: your group earns the same amount as if you took a check or cash. But you don’t have to collect and keep track of money from your members. Each account statement from Attractions will list all EZPayments your group received, plus a checkoff sheet of your members who checked out with EZPay.
You don’t have to exclusively use EZPay either, you can still accept cash and checks.
The address for checkout is attractionsbook.com/pay, or look at the back inside cover of any 2011 Attractions Dining and Value Guide.
