Attractions Dining and Value Guide Joins the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce
Morehead City – Last Wednesday, October 20, 2010, The Attractions Dining and Value Guide held a ribbon cutting at the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce. In attendance were many Chamber members, ambassadors and staff. Marlene Anderson, a Chamber Ambassador from Beaufort, introduced Attractions to the guests with a warm welcome stating, “This is such a wonderful thing for Carteret County!” She did an excellent job of explaining how Attractions provides an extraordinary service for Carteret County merchants and consumers. “Carteret County relies heavily on fundraising for an infinite amount of schools, civic organizations and groups and this is the BEST way to raise money!” The Attractions staff is very appreciative for the warm welcome received and looks forward to expanding their Crystal Coast operations.
Food was graciously provided by Chefs 105, Capt. Bill’s Waterfront Restaurant, Coastal Cafe and Coffee, Buffalo Wild Wings and Fish Tales at Town Creek Marina. Door prizes were also provided by California Roll and 3 Bear’s Popcorn. Each of these Carteret County merchants are featured in the 2011 Crystal Coast edition of the Attractions Dining and Value Guide.
Attractions staff in attendance were Chris Platt, Vice President, Angela Carey, Area Director for both Eastern NC and Crystal Coast Editions and Chad Hessenflow, Area Director for the Carolina Coast and Crystal Coast areas. Angela Carey led the presentation to the group with information about the merchants in this year’s book and a brief explanation of how Attractions can help area groups with their fundraising needs. Both Chris Platt and Chad Hessenflow reiterated the features and benefits that the Attractions Dining and Value Guide provides to area merchants and non-profit groups.
